The Greater Boksburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GBCCI) is a non-profit organisation serving businesses and the community in the Greater Boksburg area which forms part of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM). Our aim is to promote local socio-economic growth and development.
To achieve this we are constantly looking for ways to create opportunities for businesses and the community to grow and prosper. We are proud of our track record of supporting entrepreneurs, local businesses and the community at large.

As the Greater Boksburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry we assist Business and Entrepreneurs in developing skills to:
     • Promote business; provide information and advice as
       well as develop Boksburg’s community and businesses
       to their full potential.
     • Give fair representation at Local, Provincial and
       National Government level.
     • Attempt to influence policy making for the good of
       Boksburg’s community and businesses and help
       businesses grow through communication and social
       involvement and responsibility.

The GBCCI is your partner in the National Chamber Association. The GBCCI is affiliated with the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) and is accredited with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). SACCI is the national representative for all Chambers of Commerce and Industry at government level.

We Are the Voice of Business
The GBCCI represents business people and has the interest of business at heart.
Together with the Ekurhuleni Business Association (EBA), who we are members of, we attempt to improve business in the whole of Boksburg as well as the EMM. Please refer to our Services page for more information.

The GBCCI is non-political and works closely with organisations such as the:
     • National Federation of Chambers of Commerce
       (NAFCOC),
     • Industrialists Association and
     • Afrikaanse Handels Instituut (AHI).

All Chambers of Commerce and Industry within the boundaries of the EMM are included as members of the EBA. The GBCCI is constantly in contact with overseas chambers, embassies and businesses. We are constantly promoting import and export trade opportunities.

The structure of the GBCCI is based on sound business principles. We follow a constitution that is laid out to govern our actions. Our constitution also allows us to be involved in community up-liftment programmes through socio-economic development strategies.
